PENGANTAR PENDIDIKAN

SINOPSIS

Apa artinya kemajuan pendidikan jika manusia semakin cerdas, tetapi kehilangan arah, nurani, dan tanggung jawab? Apa makna ribuan sekolah, jutaan ijazah, dan kecanggihan teknologi jika pendidikan belum sepenuhnya mampu memanusiakan manusia?

Pendidikan bukan sekadar proses memindahkan pengetahuan dari pendidik kepada peserta didik. Pendidikan adalah fondasi peradaban, ruang pembentukan karakter, dan kekuatan yang menentukan arah kehidupan manusia, masyarakat, serta masa depan bangsa. Di tengah perubahan zaman dan perkembangan kecerdasan buatan, pertanyaan mendasarnya bukan lagi sebatas seberapa banyak manusia mengetahui, melainkan untuk apa pengetahuan digunakan dan nilai kemanusiaan apa yang diperjuangkan.

Buku ajar Pengantar Pendidikan menghadirkan pemahaman komprehensif mengenai hakikat manusia dan pendidikan, landasan serta pemikiran pendidikan, perjalanan sistem pendidikan nasional, peran keluarga, sekolah, dan masyarakat, hingga hubungan pendidik dengan peserta didik. Pembahasan diperluas melalui kajian kurikulum, pembelajaran, pendidikan karakter, multikulturalisme, inklusivitas, inovasi, transformasi digital, serta tantangan pendidikan masa depan.

Disusun secara sistematis dengan landasan ilmiah, ilustrasi kontekstual, latihan analitis, dan refleksi kritis, buku ini mengajak mahasiswa, pendidik, akademisi, serta pemerhati pendidikan untuk tidak berhenti pada pemahaman teori, tetapi berani mempertanyakan, mengevaluasi, dan memperbaiki praktik pendidikan.

Sebab, keberhasilan pendidikan yang sesungguhnya bukan hanya ketika manusia mampu menguasai ilmu pengetahuan, melainkan ketika ilmu pengetahuan menjadikannya semakin bijaksana, bertanggung jawab, dan menghargai martabat sesama.

Pendidikan bukan sekadar mempersiapkan manusia menghadapi masa depan. Pendidikan menentukan manusia seperti apa yang akan membangun masa depan itu.
